I would think it will open at 9pm like it did on thursday & friday from my experience on friday i would enter the enclosure from the Lincoln end of the A15 they had priority over cars from the Harmston end.We joined the traffic jam at 8-30 from the Harmston end just before you got to the airfield and entered the park & view at 9-30 and the car park was well over half full, other year's i've never had a problem in fact i've got into the airdisplay quicker than this, incompetence from the police is the most likely cause. :halo:

Just found this on the Waddo site:
Thunderbirds Display

Sat. 08:41

The Thunderbirds display is faster, lower and more manoeuvrable than most other displays giving an extremely exciting display to watch.

However to bring this display to Waddington Air Show there are additional control measures that must be applied so that the display is not manoeuvring over the crowd line.

Therefore, during the Thunderbirds display, from 1120 to 1300 hrs on Saturday 2nd July and 1420 to 1600 hrs on Sunday 3 July, members of the public must leave their vehicles and vacate the Yellow car park.

We regret the inconvenience but feel sure that you feel that it is worth it in order to allow this exciting display to go ahead.
Interesting...

Brief review:

Overall a very enjoyable day, well worth the ticket price.

Good things:
The Vulcan was farkin incredible.
The Thunderbirds.
Team Viper were quite impressive.
The Chinook display was amazing.
Belgian F16 almost doing a 100% reheated display
The spot we ended up in was rather good - to the right of the Thunderbird enclosure, no annoying PA system blaring out, not many people around

Not so good things:
Waddington's parking and entrance organisation.
Slightly odd running order.
Appallingly bad tradestands.
Somewhat disappointing Red Arrows display.
Too many Northerners.
My phone stopped working.

I thought the show was just 'OK'. I planned to take a stroll out to the A15 to get the sun behind me, but was told in no uncertain terms that I'd have to pay to get back in. No big deal as the 02 end was being used, but it will certainly make me think twice about going to the show again. Maybe I'll do some 'freeloading' next year!

It's the first year I didn't pay. Couldn't afford it. I spent the day on the A15 roadside down near 20 end. Absolutely amazing. Fast aircraft over our heads at 300ft. Underneath the Sentry, Vulcan, Belgian F16 when they landed. Amazing. I will never pay to go in there again. Sorry Waddington.
