I live near Northampton under the Daventry RC and am trying to tie up a couple of pairs of fast jets seen Eastbound OTT which didn't track on ADSB.

Times are OTT me so would have departed FFD around 10-12 mins earlier +/-. The E-4B was in between them to help ID:

10.02L - 2x delta wing jets (Typhoon or similar)

10.11L - E-4B

10.19L - 2x fast jets (single tail fins)

Any help much appreciated

Think the delta wings were Gripens and the single tail fins Finnish Hawks. Will check camera for times when I get home.

10:02 - Swedish Gripens, JAS-39D 39825 & JAS-39C 39291.

10:19 - Hellenic F-16s.

Thanks guys!

As there is a difference of opinion on the second pair, any further thoughts?

Couldn't see that much definition, they were at FL110 and moving quick in a lot of haze :(

It would appear they were the Greek F-16’s. Checked my images and the Finnish Hawks left before the Gripens.

Checked the Threshold list and that correlates also:

Many thanks!

The Threshold list hadn't been updated when I asked the question but can now see that all ties up.

Cheers

Only the broken Swedish Gripen is still at RIAT but should depart soon as spare parts were delivered on Wednesday.
