Hopefully the Canadians will not be dragging the whole North American continent with them, might flood us here in UK  Think you meant content.

I think Campbell89 actually means 'contingent', not 'content'.

Correct, I meant contingent. Unfortunately autocorrect gets the better of us on some occasions!

There was a post about the Canadian Air Force hoping to support RIAT this year and Vera was mentioned. Not sure but isn't Vera in private hands not the RCAF.

Yes, Vera is operated by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, not the RCAF.

Yes, Vera is privately owned. I should have stated that, I was meaning it would be nice to have her back given the anniversaries and the mention of Canadian support.

Would be great if the Canadians could get one of their new Casa 295's to make the short trip up from Seville for the weekend.

Well yes, but they don't belong to them until they've been paid for and handed over....

One Canadian C295 has been delivered to Canada so far (but it will not fly again), and according one press release, the first operational C295 has been handed over to Canada, but will remain in Spain for crew training for a few months.

Great news, another one I've not yet seen along with the Danish F16 (Flypast aside last year)

I feel I am way behind you guys lol. I was only doing seaside shows until my first RIAT in 2017. So while some may get sick of F-16s, I've a lot of catching up to do.

We have begun communicating with Austrian Joint Forces Command who plan to send an aircraft for static display at RIAT 2020. We will bring you more news once the details are formally confirmed.

The Heavy Airlift Wing, based at Pápa Air Base in Hungary, have also communicated their intent to return. We expect their participation will be confirmed in the Spring.

We have received news from the Slovenian Air Force that they plan to support RIAT 2020.

Last week we hosted staff from the RAF Aerobatic Team, to discuss aspects of their participation at RIAT 2020. We discussed the possibility of special flypasts to ensure visitors coming on all days we to see something special in the skies over Fairford. We await the formal confirmation of their attendance from the RAF Air Events Team...
