Totterdown / Lakeview

Morning all from a wet Burford! Is Totterdown or Lakeview camping any good for departures on Monday? Or any other locations outside? I was planning on going to west park and view but im told tickets are sold out. Any help would be great Many Thanks

You should still be able to buy them on the gate on the day. They did the same last year, selling out online to have availability on the day too.

Distant view only, I'm afraid. It's an elevated position, but you can't see much of the eastern half of the runway, and the western half is over a mile away. Also, you're looking into the sun for much of the day.

I'm afraid I don't know of any better views of departures from outside the P&Vs, either.

I'd suggest trying west p&v but if sold out stay in the car park which isn't much further back anyway. Aircraft will be airborne so you'll still have a great view.
