I always get to the East end 'early bird' park area around 0530 Saturday. It used to be that once gates open '(0600') they would let you in first and hold traffic on road coming from Lechlade.
Last year they let in the Lechlade traffic and you had to feed in when you could. Certainly unfair to those who had arrived early I feel.
Any idea if this was a one off 'error' otherwise i feel i may as well stay in the Lechlade traffic row.

It appears there is nothing on the RIAT site re 'early bird' parking. Perhaps why last year (East end) the usual 'early bird' area was not open hence everyone parked in the lane adjoining it with the resultant problem as originally mentioned which will no doubt be repeated this year unfortunately.
