Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread
So what jets do we have 'self confirmed' so far?
Brietling Jet Team
Romanian Mig 21
Ukrainian SU27
Finnish F/18
Frecce Tricolori
Patrouille de France
Anything else?
If all gets confirmed, I think it will be a damn good show.

su-27 is just a rumor, everything else is correct although I hope that that the Breitling Jet Team will either not attend or be on staticjasonT1981 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2019 3:48 pmSo what jets do we have 'self confirmed' so far?

Fair enough, but I am sure there are others that won't have seen them that would like to see them.wonkybob wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2019 4:09 pmI've never seen them either but they will display at Eastbourne for 4 days so I will see them thenJames Cutting wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2019 3:57 pmI'd quite like to see the BJT - Never seen them before, and hear they are a great team, bring it on!!

We still might get a Tornado display from Italy as they displayed 2 years ago so maybe this year, Hopefully we get the Italian Eurofighter and the C-27j although the C-27 display last year was awful so if it is back hopefully with it's more dynamic routine....There is still a chance we might get the A-10 demo as there is a 2 week gap in their schedule so fingers crossed for that as I don't think any other USA displays will come.....Still might get the F-16, Mig-29 and SU-22 Fitter from Poland and I am hoping the French send the ATL2 back this year due to it being recalled for operations as it gave a marvellous practice display before it left.
Would be good to see a Hercules display as not saw one of them for years I believe the Belgians have a display for that so fingers crossed they might send that over.....Would also be good to see a Hind helicopter but I think the chances of that are slim with the Czechs not attending.

Anyone have the link for the mig 21 self confirmation?

Does anyone on here think we are likely to get anything from conus?
As I feel other than usafe I don't think we will get much if anything at all from conus.

While I won't hold out hope, A10 has a break in the schedule during RIAT.
Wouldn't put it past them to give us another B2 flypast. Which would be great to see.

If they do another B2 flypast hopefully it's better than last years which was too high and only one pass even though it circled over brize for about 10 mins waiting for the reds to depart....2017 was much better nice and low and 2 passes was an awesome sight with the 2 F-15s either side of it.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread
Yeah was a shame but they held the B2 in the hold for far too long because 1 display ran over and the B2 pilot was agitated and didn't play ball (understandably). Apparently low on fuel too hence being high up. 2017 was phenomenal.Red-Eye-Knight wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 3:16 pmjasonT1981 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 2:31 pmWhile I won't hold out hope, A10 has a break in the schedule during RIAT.

Look how much effort the USA are gearing up for the D day anniversary this year.
I predict a big presence and flypast of the many invasion striped aircraft they are doing.
Expect a big D,day parade.
