Why is this sad?

Can anyone confirm that access to the show entrance gates for pedestrians / cyclists will still be available using the diversion / metal trackway ?
Thanks

It does say that an alternative is being made available so walkers and cyclists can continue to enjoy the countryside. Can't see a problem. Unless of course it is because there will be no chance of watching the flying from there, which is unfortunate rather than very sad but in this day and age of flying safety something to live with - or without!

OK thanks - I had a sudden panic that the through route was completely closed for pedestrians / cyclists, which would be a problem for our on-site days. As you say - at worst we would wheel bikes. thanks

Yeah, sorry all about the double posting. Sadly this closure has been on the cards for a few year's and 'Sadly' it's finally happened :( I did take several picture's of the area yesterday 'But'... not worth posting. It's either find another location near the flight path or... yep, buy a Ticket. 'End X' on this one and 'Good Luck'.
