You can see some movements and possibly either end of the static. there are usually 2 car parks, and if this is still the case you can move location. Views are best described as restricted.

I believe it has been said if you do not have a ticket, you can't view from the car park.

From the FAQ: "At both sites, from 6am each day, free of charge parking is on the airfield, on hard-standing for ticket holders in the Park and View enclosures. You are not permitted to view from within the car park if you do not have a ticket."

Romanian Mig-21 cancelled, C-27 still attending.

Thoughts with both the pilots family and the wider Romanian Air Force community, a tragic event. :(

That's a bit confusing as the RIAT press release states that the Romanian Air Force will no longer be attending the show. I read that as, and totally understandably, no participation at all. The C-27 is still on the list though.
Can't say I blame them if they have indeed pulled as a whole though at this difficult time.
Cheers

C-27 now added to the cancellation list, completely understandable.

Loving the maturity on this forum, unlike a not named forum that has been locked for a second time in recent weeks

RIAT will be brilliant this year

Horrible news about the Romanian pilot though, rest in peace and fly high dude

Can't wait for Saturday folks!

Not clear whether it's for today or a complete cancellation, hopefully the former.

It looks like French Atl2 15 and Italian C-27 MM62219 (nr. Lyon) are on their way.

Are there any USAF F-35s in Europe anywhere? Still no ALTRV for the Heritage flight. Not leaving much time for issues etc

Bit of a joke cancelling the B-52 considering fairford is a forward operating base for B-52’s, unfortunately a lot of star items are dwindling!

Just hope the SU-27’s don’t cancel & F-35’s magically appear over the next 48 hrs.

Why is it a "joke"? Do you know why it cancelled? Maybe there was a last minute tech issue. Give it a break already.

Next to Kempsford campsite if that helps, near the blue carpark
