With two greyhounds arriving in Rota today, I was wondering if the carrier is steaming back into the Atlantic again? Making it possible that it will be in UK waters during the Tattoo (and Trumps visit?)

I'm surprised there is no USN P-8A on static so far? I guess they have been regular visitors the last couple of year, it would be a given they would attend

Think there is one at Yeovilton, they normally share and then obviously some of the new and exotic follow on to the Farnborough show when its on. Would agree it does seem a given though...

Ahead of the update in 26 mins, they have just confirmed Saturday is now sold out

I can't see them having a F-35 demo, even without a being a display routine. The brass would want it practiced. Doesnt leave much time to put it together and practice. Hope I'm wrong

Well, I guess that had to say something!!
We're now just three weeks away from this amazing event, with over 350 aircraft confirmed (including flypast participants), over 40 air arms from 30 different nations (with hopefully a couple of aircraft still to be announced once we receive final confirmation).

If the Belgian's send one of the Embraers it may be the last time at a show as, according to Air Forces Monthly, they are being withdrawn from service due to budget cuts! :O

Highly unlikely. Check the RIAT website for current confirmations but guaranteed you won’t see the above. :thumb:

That was Cosford's remit, to have as many ex RAF types on static, RIAT is for other nations to celebrate and commemorate.
Cheers

A pound to a pinch of :grr: there is an RAF F-35 present in the static, we may even get a fly by and hover demo as we did a couple of years back.
