Radar image looks like rain for quite a while, stay safe and try to keep dry.
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Bit off topic but don't want to add another 'thread' needlessly.
What was security like this morning with the no bags / hand luggage etc procedure although I'd expect it was quiet with the weather forecast.

Blue was a breeze. Didn't get body scanned but bag checked. Took 1 minute to get through around 8am.

Considering the conditions well done to the Saudi Hawks for at least putting on a small display today.

Nice to see a bit of camouflage on a Gripen instead of plain grey.

Weather not much better tomorrow. Minimum 30mph winds going up to 45mph. Sun from 0700 until 1030 according to met office, thunderstorms too.
Without the rain, the winds are a huge issue. Silver lining with FRIAT is Sunday's show, but really feel for others.

Probably going to give it a miss tomorrow given the forecast. Was really looking forward but the forecast it looks like it'll be a grueling experience. Luckily I should be able to see bits + bobs from the comfort of my home on Sunday

Saturday ticket holders: it might be a good idea to have the ‘buy Sunday ticket button’ on standby
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2023 General Discussion Thread
Makes you wonder if Saturday should be cancelled ?

Hopefully if so, we get notified in advance. Can't see an awful lot operating im 45mph winds

Took the decision not to go in today. I'm not a photographer so didn't fancy walking around in this monsoon. The Mrs likes the craft and vintage tents, but didn't fancy the trek from the car park to the show. We have watched it all from the caravan in the warm and dry

It's such a shame, the dratted British weather strikes again. Bought Friday and Saturday tickets plus mobility scooter hire for both days, but at the mo we are sat eating ice creams in a lovely warm and dry Ice Cream Parlour in Cirencester instead and already thinking of next year's event.
