And DBH are probably still finalising their details. I agree it is a meh update but good to see the RAF sending more for the static.

I actually quite like the scheme they've done it in so I'm looking forward to seeing it :)

I struggle to find excitement in this update, but I'm already buzzing with the thought of harriers, su27 and a mig21 sharing the same air over fairford. That's the whole show for me, but I still think they've got an ace up their sleave......

They might hold the best stuff for last minute announcements

Still curious on the Turkish discussions and the self confirmed french team

Still waiting for the specials for Sunday, that have been promised but nothing forthcoming yet. May have to go back to visiting on Saturday again in 2020.

Looking at the confirmed aircraft list it says it'll be a IX(B) Sqn Typhoon on static. Happy if that's true, hopefully it's one with the squadron codes.

With the F-35 becoming more visible at Air Shows recently on static, Berlin and KB last year and Volkel and Paris this year it does seem strange that none have so far been announced for RIAT, an Italian or Norwegian one would be nice!

There is quite a few aircraft that are at other airshows that seem strange not to be at RIAT for either static or flying....Wessex helicopter springs to mind but we know the reason why that not coming.

Would rather see the Wessex flying than the....oh no wait better not say that ;)

As nice as it would be to see F-35 static, we’ll be up to our eyeballs with them in a few years time so if it doesn’t happen this year you can bet it will in years to come.

Saying that, it would be good to see F-35A, F-35B and F-35C all in a line to see the differences.

A post in another part of FC says that the Hill F-35s are staying at Spangdahlem until July 27th, so a chance some may come to RIAT?

Along with hopefully those USN super Hornets at leeming and maybe the Saudi demo team that recently announced a European tour. However there might be a stealthy/ surprise visitor like the Israeli C-130J a couple of years back. No one was aware of it visiting and bang everyone got a surprise!
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...
