It would be even more awesome if they tucked inside their drummers. They were hypnotic last year and thoroughly entertaining.

Happy.

Sadly an Romanian Mig 21 has crashed this morning, no word on the pilot according to Facebook. Could be potentially bad news for one of the stars of the show.

Fingers crossed for the pilot anyway as that's the most important thing

Apparently after a meeting at Chequers on Friday Trump and May are heading to a joint UK US military installation.

Given the meeting is in Oxfordshire I guess it's Croughton....but there again ?

Being suggested on Scramble that the Romanians have unsurprisingly withdrawn their attendance at RIAT.

Very sad news this week with both migs, the Romanian will not be atteneding now due to a fleet grounding. Yes this will be an upset to most spotters, but until investigators have determined cause of crash, no Romanian mig-21 will be flying!

Pilots safety is priority and will always take over any airshow, let’s hope that RIAT will ask the Danish Air Force F-16 pilot to fill a spot!

The guy who died was the display pilot. Grounding or not, it still wouldn't have come over. Thoughts are with his family and the Romanian air force at this difficult time
Cheers

Tuesday Park & View request. If I turn up mid morning and I'd guess no tickets available can you see anything worthwhile from were you park ?
I have weekend tickets and only a last minute change gives me Tues (and Wed) free

You can see some movements and possibly either end of the static. there are usually 2 car parks, and if this is still the case you can move location. Views are best described as restricted.
