Not seen it mentioned, but the countries who have declined an invite section has been updated at the bottom beside the Red dot.
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 Discussion Thread
Been declined for a couple of weeks, didn't see any mention here.

Surely it's as and when updates now? The updates should start rolling in now.
Father's Day on Sunday, last year the F-15s were announced.
Still think there's something special to come from US as it still seems too light for a birthday bash, not like them at all

Its the biggest and most varied amount that they have sent anywhere outside of America since going into Sequestration in 2013.

Going Friday this year. Any idea when they will post which aircraft will display?

Bit early yet mate, I'm in the area Thursday-Monday, not at RIAT every day but in the Cotswolds on holiday, just hope weather is nice.

I wouldn't mind the Royal Danish Air Force vipers that are appearing at Yeovilton taking a little detour to RIAT, as I wouldn't mind seeing a few more vipers in the static park.
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 Discussion Thread
Think we've got all we're getting from the Danes this year.
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 Discussion Thread

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 Discussion Thread
I notice that pending final approval the F22 demo team also have the Heritage Flight listed for Fairford. No type specified but a P51 would probably be a good guess.
The RIAT team do have a knack of getting some interesting and different flypasts together for the shows and it wouldn't surprise me they have something in the bag for this year. It's not all about individual aircraft, sometimes these formations have been a real highlight of the show.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 Discussion Thread
There's a P-51 being shipped from the US for whatever they have planned. Which I believe still had to be added to the official participation list

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 Discussion Thread
Not a bad couple of static updates, but could really do with a couple of flying display confirmations now...Haven't had one for a few weeks (?)
I can only hope and pray they will add some big names again soon over the next week or so, but still looking a good display nonetheless.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 Discussion Thread
Also it is confirmed that the Polish Air Force and Romanian Air Force will not be participating. So no MiG 29 or much hoped for MiG 21.
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2017 Discussion Thread
Nice to see the RAF bulk up the static park!
C-17 addition is fantastic, hopefully they'll line it up with the Canadian and US versions!
Nice to see the Tornado's from Marham too - soon they won't be around so any chance to see these birds is a bonus nowadays.
This is definitely turning into a brilliant show this year!
Think we'll get a surprise email this Sunday!
