Re P-1
Would have been nice to have seen one of them slotted into the Friday flying for those like me who left it too late for tickets on the other days.
Especially for such a rare aircraft to be sitting on the deck with a only short display listed for Friday.
Still, always Farnborough next year when they might come over again especially as they can now be sold outside Japan and the UK and other air arms might show interest.

Reported on Scramble that 5504 and 5507 landed at San Diego this morning and are currently Eastbound somewhere over the good old USA.

Lets hope the Hungarian transport is not the support for the F16.
otherwise that could be next on the list.

Not sure why the Hungarians would be supporting an F-16? They don't have any.

So no AWACS this year(as I couldn't see even a NATO example on the list) :( :(

Hi
First time at RIAT P&V tomorrow,
Can anyone advise which end will be the best for P&V tomorrow, given the forecast is for a SE wind?
Thanks
Richard

The Hungarian An-26s have been coming long before the Gripens have been! Indeed, it was still scheduled to attend yesterday evening, so something has clearly happened in the last few hours that means it is no longer able to.

just wait and see is best advice, if the tailwind component is negligible they'll probably prefer 27
