As well as all the cool jets (that I love of course). I have to shout for The Waco! ANY pilot, whatever they normally fly would love to clock some time on that. They are beautiful things :)

Good updates, looking like a good show, just a bit too much S and not enough F perhaps. Its an 'airshow' after all..

What you have to remember is that as it's "The Reds" 50th and a lot of formation teams are present, each of their displays is around the 40/45 minutes and the flying display only lasts for 8 hours, so there's only so much that can be fitted in !
(Still 8+ weeks of announcements to come, so plenty of time for the Russians and the Yanks to stop their 'Sabre rattling' and decide to 'come out to play'

Unless its the Thunderbirds.........in which case, after the formation coffee drinking, the synchro loo break, the company march to the aircraft, the opening of the canopy spectacle, the blah, blah, booring, blah, blah rest of it, its an hour before the fisrt pass! :Wow:

Today's update 8th May
We are pleased to confirm the addition to the RIAT 2014 participation list of several aircraft from the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm. A Merlin anti-submarine helicopter from 824 Naval Air Squadron will take part in the flying display, with another example of this versatile machine in the static park; also shown statically will be a King Air 350ER 'Avenger' observer trainer from 750 NAS, a Sea King HU5 search and rescue helicopter from 771 NAS, and a Lynx maritime helicopter.

The Romanian Air Force has confirmed that it will be sending a senior delegation to this summer's Air Tattoo. We have been informed that we will be contacted separately with regards aircraft participation.

Gotta agree with Paulo :thumb: There are some gems already announced, to dismiss it seems a little short sighted.

This weeks update might have been a little small compared to the recent ones but we don't get much Navy stuff up here in deepest darkest Lincolnshire so i'm very happy with it :thumb:
