I notice the airtattoo.com site shows a civilian Embraer Phenom on the participation list.

Would this be first one for the RAF PR-PHK perhaps, it is due to deliver to Cranwell on Friday the 7th July 2017.

Guess you aren't camping then. I was hoping to stay at Hoburne for the RIAT weekend (as I did last year) but they no longer allow tents or caravans. Such a shame as it was a lovely site.

According to various tweets, Berlin Express had an issue with the canopy at Legends. The whole thing detected and hit the tail :'( doesn't sound good. Pilot landed safely though

The canooy shattered on it first pass, parts of it, hit and dented the top of the tail.

Not long now folks!
Flanker or no Flanker I'll be there!

Quick question...we will be travelling down Thursday afternoon and setting up at Townsend Farm for around 4/5pm ready for the 3 show days.

Is there a rough time that arrivals finish? And could I catch any from the roadside outside the base?

I was also going to go to park and view on the Friday. My Printer has sadly stopped working! So can't print out the tickets. Can you still buy them on the Friday for park and view?

Many thanks

There is no park and view on Friday, it is a show day so to enter that compound you need a full price ticket

Yes, this is the aircraft that'll be on static.

As Mark said in the previous thread, a press release regarding the Phenom/G.120 & T-6 is available on the RIAT website.

Indeed, just a 'live' movement update...that's all.

I'm thinking of going down on Thursday to test my new camera on some arrivals, is Thursday normally the main arrivals day?
Cheers
Tom.
