This week still seems to be buzzing with gossip and rumours, didn't think there could be any more surprises. Just an excellent effort by all involved so far. And it could possibly get even better, maybe, sort of, if we're lucky, fingers crossed. :thumb:

Friday's flying is scheduled to start at 11am and finish around 3pm. Also mentions more arrivals after the show on Friday but no specifics.

Ukrainian SU-27s......
....now that would be awesome this late in the updates.

Tomorrow could be by all accounts the most eagerly and anticipated Thursday update for a very long time.
I mean we could have a multitude of surprises confirmed tomorrow as it's technically the last one before the show week.

There's still the ongoing New Zealand AF, Sally B & Breitling Jet Display to be confirmed plus other late static confirmations which could be awesome still.

Excitement levels are increasing by the day...roll on this time next week!

No mention of the Ukrainians....

B-17 Sally B confirms for the flying display helping to celebrate 70 years of the United States Air Force
Two RNLAF F-16s take up position in the static display and the Army Air Corp's Historic Aircraft Flight Beaver and Scout also join the line-up.
The BAE Systems collection is supplemented by a Gladiator 1 and deHavilland DH-9.

Surprised no mention of the Ukrainians seeing as it's public knowledge they might be attending, also no cancellations which is a good thing

If the Ukrainians are coming then surely it would of been announced today?

Could be that the Ukrainian side of things is still awaiting some 't' crossing and 'i' dotting

I would imagine the amount off Diplomatic Red tape that is needed to cross would mean it's a long process to complete. If they have only just got the ok to Display as seen on the links above, I would guess a few more days of sorting out is required.

This has also been posted on Facebook Page.
"We have been made aware of Air Tattoo 2017 tickets being sold on a number auction of sites. As our Terms & Conditions clearly state they are not for resale. We have asked the auctions sites to remove the tickets however we can also trace these tickets (even if the address and barcode are covered) and will be deleting these tickets so they will not be valid for the event. Please do not sell or buy Air Tattoo tickets from auction sites."

What is surprising is the lack of acknowledgement by DBH that their man with RIAT FCC on his flying suit, is seen giving an interview to local media. Either deny or put up folks.
