Your post doesn't really work, does it?

Puma's serials are always easy to read on the tail boom, they are never covered with "soot".

SUNDAYS OSPREY WAS 09-0058
Re: RIAT 2015 Frequencies-Participants-Arrivals-Deps etc
OOPS SHOULD BE 11-OO58

It's probably there so that crews can make a note of it for Nectar Points next time it's wheeled past a Sainburys super storeFerrari wrote:I like the way the serial is shown next to the fuel filler caps - perhaps so ground crew know which a/c they're fuelling when the tail boom is covered with soot.

Re: RIAT 2015 Departures odds & sods
the czech hind in the special scheme (3370/PP EV953) repositioned under its own steam to the NE apron along with the 2 US Army helis, all went past the P&V west enclosure.
Did all 4 AMI Tonkas dep on monday? does anyone have the approx times as I have 2 images clearly showing mm7019/50-05 & mm7072/6-30 dep separately but not the other two. I may have fallen asleep after the very early start & drive down from the north but I am sure I would have woken up to see them
another niggle is concerning the 9 C.101's which dep as a 5 then 4 abit later.
could someone please confirm the code for E25-13. was it 7?
and also were two coded 4? E25-41 and E25-23??
I also do not recall seeing the C-27J depart on mon.
the Ec-135P2+ D-HCDL carried the letters "SUH" underneath the fuselage - any ideas was this is about please?
as I was at the P&V west I only saw one of the Bo105's departing with the Sea Lynx - my view was blocked by some RAF tiffys taxying for departure - the Bo105 i saw was in a special o/a paint scheme - was only one in such a scheme?
All the planned departure times (or most of them) went to pot as the fairford controllers were experiencing long delays with Swanwick Mil to obtain clearances for the departures. The MiG-29 pilots looked abit twitchy as they held for what seemed an eternity close to the P&V west end waiting to backtrack to 27 end for departure.

RIAT Ops tweeted yesterday that the last aircraft to leave - the 15Sqn special fin, departed yesterday... Fairford returns to an empty field, always a sad sightBrizeWatcher wrote:Here is a list of aircraft still at Fairford

Re: RIAT 2015 Frequencies-Participants-Arrivals-Deps etc
Can anyone help me with the RN B350/Avenger that came in early on Mon, 20 Jul, presumably with a crew or spares for the static machine, and left again shortly afterwards. I only saw it as it lifted off.

It was ZZ501 Martin, arrived with the crew for the static example and departed within an hour of landing.

Is this the first time in the UK for a Dutch CH-47F(NL) Chinook?

No, they had one with TAC Blaze 16-1 (late May) based up at Carlisle Airport and operating mainly into RAF Spadeadam EW Range - some of my photos here viewtopic.php?f=16&t=132192 (easy to spot which photos as it is the grey one) and there are other posts from others.shuck wrote:Is this the first time in the UK for a Dutch CH-47F(NL) Chinook?

Re the RNlAF Chinook F variant being shown in any UK display I'm not aware of any previous appearance but am happy to be corrected!
