Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
Wait for an update, the SwAFHF page only says they're planning to attend, nothing more, nothing less.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
Been off line for a week or so and just catching up. With Italians and historic Swedes now we are talking and things are starting to look good.
Glad the Viggen is being pursued it is an awesome aircraft in flight and not too hard on the eye on the ground either. Splinter Gripen please to complete the set.
Thought the you tube thing was funny and even funnier was the response it got over on that other forum. Looking forward to seeing the silhouette of Mrs Moley

I am happy with thatKDC-10 confirmed for Static

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
The Dutch KDC-10 and C-130 will be great on static
being slightly geeky hope the KDC-10 is T-264 "Prins Bernhard"
the other KDC-10 "Jan Scheffer" and the DC-10 has appeared at Waddington over the last couple of years

Flying prevails whenever a man and his airplane are put to a test of maximum performance.

Royal Danish Air ForceWe continue to work hard on procuring aircraft for the Air Tattoo with encouraging news recently being received from the Australian High Commission in London regarding potential aircraft participation. It is still too early for the Australians to be able to confirm an aircraft type but we have our fingers crossed for something new and exciting. As soon as we hear, we shall let you know.

Haven't the Italians already been announced by RIAT - twice?!
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
A nice update, always like seeing the Royal Danish Air Force stuff
Poland has cancelled unfortunately
Poland has cancelled unfortunately

Having understood that the Polish Air Force was planning to join us for RIAT 2013, we were disappointed to learn this week that they are now unable to take part. We fully understand how situations can change, and we very much look forward to welcoming them back in 2014.
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
I thought same thing! Text my mate on 4th April saying Italian EF 2000 was flying!ChrisGlobe wrote:Haven't the Italians already been announced by RIAT - twice?!
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
So is that it or more to be updated today?
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2013
Same here,, I've attended every riat since the age of 6, this might be the first one I actually miss. Very very poor update, they can keep their £40+ tickets.
