I am stopping in Cirencester and had a question about the flexibility of parking - i.e. Is it a flexible parking ticket to use on red, blue or green as suits your daily decision or is it car park specific?
I emailed Wendy and got this reply:
"Once our car parks are fully booked we will not be able to process any additional parking permits. You will only be able to enter a RIAT car park if you are showing a valid car pass for that day. So ideally you need to advise us in advance which transport you will be using."
I also asked about the traffic routes out of blue - Kempsford to Latton to Cirencester is fine, Kempsford via Highworth to Swindon to Cirencester isn't!
The reply:
"I am still waiting to hear what the final traffic plans are and should be able to answer that question closer to the show once the plans have been finalised."
So unfortunately it looks like a decision is needed before full information is available.
I'll need to renew FRIAT membership by the end of Jan and need to decide on parking too by then it seems. (Can I order two parking tickets for a single day?????)
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Re: RIAT 26 parking
As far as I am aware, it's not specific to a car park. Personally, have always used Blue, as easiest for us from Swindon, and in the middle of the showground. Have used Green before (which is no more - happy camping!)
I think you can choose multiple passes for the same day - Just renewed my Dad's FRIAT and you could choose several passes, I believe.

Re: RIAT 26 parking
I have just been on to my FRIAT account to pay for my ticket for 2026; the order shows the ticket and three days of car parking vouchers for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Those vouchers are titled "FRIAT parking" and are not car park specific.
However the general public have to specify either green (park and ride at South Cerney) or red/blue do FRIAT members just decide on the day which car park they want to use.
Do FRIAT members just rock up to the car park they feel like using that day? I have asked!
