Not interesting just annoying that some try to read into things and between the lines. Not just English Language as a subject. Mathematics too - 1+1 is always 2 in basic decimal addition.

Anyway back to topic I suppose...

Yes, more importantly, is there any word on the route that the PAAF will be taking to RIAT? I’ve seen the NOTAM for AAR over Corfu on Wednesday, surely it’s too far from Pakistan to UK on AAR alone and a nightstop en route will be needed?

My guess is, since Egypt is pretty much half way, they will reside there prior moving on wednesday. They've been there before for exercises in the past (can't recall the base name though).

Nothing wrong with a bit of speculation, after all this does say discussion thread, so discuss. What is different about these B-1s for the show is it's stated they are here for a BTF visit and not specifically for RIAT, so with operational missions they may well bring a pair for a flying spare, as they would for a BTF. I can't go but I enjoy the build up and the excitement, I'm of an age when you didn't know what was there until you drove in on the Saturday and saw the big tails, we have to accept those days are over.

I’m hoping for Souda, they’ve used that before when heading to the US for RF.

I’m not complaining about a flying B-1 of course, but would the fact it’s going on a BTF mission after affect the nature of its flypast? Like I’d honestly kill to see it do a transonic topside banana pass or anything else of that nature, but I feel if it’s going on a mission after it will be a lot more tame?

Just seen on Facebook a claim the C-5 is due in tomorrow. Anyone here heard anything about that? Be disappointing if it’s in before we’re in.

A C-5 apparently BTF support flight is due according to an 'X' post on UKAR.

Globe Sentinel is stating it's for the alleged upcoming BTF. Perhaps getting an early "in" if it's the same C5 that's visiting RIAT? https://x.com/GlobeSentinels/status/1944768272999514503

It seems likely to be the one for static. BTFs seem to get more civi support than C-5s usually, so I’d be surprised to see two C-5s, one tomorrow and another one on Weds staying for the show.

There is a Pakistani AF ALTRV within the Greek FIR for Wednesday. Suggests they're expecting to get over Greece late morning Wednesday, so into/over Western Europe Wednesday lunchtime, and if they come direct to Fairford it's looking like Wednesday afternoon.

A2252/25 - AIR TO AIR REFUELLING ACTIVITIES WILL TAKE PLACE WITHIN HELLAS UIR
BY PAKISTAN AIR FORCE ALONG POINTS: PARNA-KRK ON AWY UL53, KRK-TIGRA
ON AWY UL995.
