I did Friday this year. Can anyone please clarify the Danish F-16 serials? I noted E-006 flying yesterday, but the other has been quoted as ET-167 and ET-197 - or is one of those the replacement for the two broken ones?
Also I noted Finnish Hornet HN-427 flying, but HN-445 had been quoted as present but I didn't see it n static...
Finally, where was the Moroccan Hercules parked yesterday?!
Steve
Many thanks for the help on those guys.
Steve
I also saw a report that HN-445 arrived last night, but I can't find any evidence to back that up!
The replacement Danish F-16AM was reported as E-190

Is it just me, or is the signal from RIAT Live very poor this year?

Used to hear it as soon as I set off from my FOB at Stratton St Margaret in previous years, but I can’t get a reliable signal until I’m on the actual entry route, beyond the roundabout this year.

Got re-routed from Blue on to Green this morning, and the signal was dropping in and out all the way from the roundabout off the 419 until I was almost in the Green car parks.

Sadly had to leave early today. I've been suffering long covid for a while and it hit me hard today. Left as F35 was finishing up.

Could someone indicate the location of the Qatari NH90. Is it next to the C-17?
Thank you

Arrived early.
Used Red route (as always) Road in Lechlade is open as the signs say. (Google says otherwise).
Parking on base around 6.45.
Security check without a queue around. 7.10 or so.
Waited 20 minutes for gates to open.
7 37 on field.
Fastest entering proces ever!

Different with other years security checks started much earlier, other years they were part of the entering proces.
Huge improvement Bravo RIAT.

Apart from the weather/cloud base great RIAT.
Many special items.

Could anyone advise which Saudi Hawks flew yesterday (Saturday), please, and which were the Hawks that participated in the Hawk celebration display later in the day?

Sadly we got to the end of the red queue at 9am after leaving home at 5.30am thinking we have an hour before flying, it’ll be fine only to enter the airfield after 11am, which was mildly annoying since the only reason I bought ticked was the F-15 display that took place at 10am and we missed the whole lot. Usually we camp but after the Somme last year in the campsite we figured never again.

I was disappointed at the variety of types in the flying was so different to Friday. Did the Kawasaki cargo fly? Didn’t see it just a plethora of hawk displays.

Just my opinion and as can be seen by your comments, greatly different experience for anyone arriving later.

Yeah saw 357 but thought there was a second one...357 as art work on tail and the other Jordanian as 25th Jubilee art work.

It’s the same airframe. Has “Guts Airline” on one side of the tail and the 25th Jubilee on the other.

Very enjoyable 3 days spent at RIAT, although the grey weather slightly took the edge off the saturday,, fortunately it shone briefly as i got to the F16 line up. Arrived at 6.45, on site at 7.40, all very well organised, although i believe there were issues later. My high lites were.. Thursday.. The USAF F35 and Hunter arriving in formation. Friday.. Arrival of the Greek F.4,s. U2 display then the other U2 arriving. NATO flypast. Flying Display.. The F15 stole it, well it did on the thursday practice and the friday..
Static. Tracker/ Turbo Firecat and the F16 line up.
As always a great show and well organised, and met some nice friendly people along the way. The only thing which I thought could have been better [ it didn't affect me in any way] was if the B52 AND U2 were more to the centre of the static area rather than up one end, where some entering the show from the eastern end probably didn't even know they were there. Bring on 2025..
