On delivery, they request start, clearance and get updated on delays etc. They then push to ground when they're ready to taxi

I've been doing some digging on the internet and also found these frequencies listed -

Grd 121.800 FFD
Grd 234.250 FFD
Radar 389.575 Brize (FFD ICF)

I've looked at many sites so not sure if these are any good?

Also, what is the delivery frequency for? Should I add it to my scanner?
You've looked at an out of date list bud, 121.8 and 234.25 or both no longer used. No idea what 389.575 is.

yes, I've got some old red books that are mostly ok but don't get updated as I can't understand notams

Got this as part of a reply in the fairford section - 'Brize Radar UHF is now 389.575 so you can probably remove 278.350'

Apologies Captain Scarlet, I made an error there, Brize Radar UHF is indeed 278.350.
I was editing my reply to you in the Fairford section using copy and paste on my phone and clearly got it all wrong.

Re: 2024 Scanner Frequencies

This is what I've come up with for my own scanner -

Grd 121.175
Radar 124.275 brz
Tower 124.800
Approach 127.250 brz
Delivery 130.675
Director 133.750 brz
Approach 231.950 brz
Tower 246.350
Radar 278.350 brz
Ops 278.925
Grd 339.700
Director 399.025 brz

I've noticed ground being rounded up to 121.8 . . . which would be better to input into my scanner - 121.175 or 121.8?

(brz -brize norton frequency)

I don't think I'll miss much with this lot. I'm not really bothered about the atis as if they're not flying I'm sure I'll notice!

If anyone can think of a 'must have' frequency then please let us all know. It'll be my first time at fairford so any help is much appreciated. :thumb:

Guys, the list I posted was fully checked for accuracy. Adding freqs from out of date lists isn't helping.

You see some freqs rounded up by 5KHz but that's 25KHz, you need to use 121.175

Fairford has no approach control, its handled by Brize. I do a Fairford bank and brize bank and only really have Brize on in the evening to have something to listen to. On show days you only really need 124.8 it's that busy.
