I missed out on P&V tickets for departures day on Monday due to a hospital stay and notice now they are sold out. Can you buy them on the day ?

You can pay on the day at the gate for both departures and arrivals.

Also a few questions from my end on this subject. Is this a cash only counter, or can you pay by bank card as well? And do I understand well that you can buy these tickets at both ends? I have seen a counter at the eastside many moons ago, but this time I will opt for P&V west.

In 2023 you could pay on the day with cash or card. Card took a lot longer though.

You can buy at either enclosure.

I recall it being around £20 per person, but please don't quote me on that!

Last year was £28, this year hasn't been announced but believed to be £30.

Is it possible to walk from Flyby Camping to the approach and take landing photos ?

This may be a daft question but could anybody help on best way to find the park and view west? I always use the eastern end and have always wanted to try the west. I’m going down on the Thursday for arrivals and would like to try the western end.

Apart from a bit of confusion on the gate at the west end last year owing to the staff being largely unprepared for the requests for tickets nobody was refused entry, after all RIAT are not going to refuse funds. Must admit £28 on the gate was a bit steep so preparing for £30 this year. Will add this was departures day.

Yes, a friend of mine arrived at P&V East this morning at 10:00 and paid on the gate to get in no problem.
