For fans of the Dragon Lady: The flying display is on Friday only, and will be takeoff, climbout and into spiral ascent, spiral descent, one go-around and then landing. Then into the static.
With the U-2 facing an uncertain future (see below), you wouldn't want to miss this!

Sounds better than expected if that's the case. Shame it's only Friday though

Are the Saudi Hawks heading straight to Fairford or are they expected at Waddington beforehand?
They are expected at Waddo Tuesday I believe, presumably leaving Saudi on Monday?
Thank you for that. Although Saudi Arabia to the UK over two days? Seems a bit of haul in a Hawk?

Yea maybe? Although the Saudi jets have 'wet' wings so can fly further than our Reds - guess we just need to look out for them on tracking or keep an eye on FR etc for possible flight plans.

Apologies upfront if asked/answered already: not having a ticket; is there any way you can watch the aircraft from the outside (e.g. along the fence to collect the tailnumbers)? Is there a way to see the aircraft when landing, or is the full premises around FF off-limit for pedestrians nowadays? Particularly interested to know the situation on Monday. Cheers !

Does anybody know if the B52 will arrive more likely on Thursday than Wednesday.

Cant remember what they did last year.

I am there for arrivals on Thursday

I'd put money on Wednesday, not Thursday.

Wednesday. And Wednesday this year. It's the biggest to get parked and they'll want it in first.

Fri, Sat, Sunday - pay and view is around £10-15 per person. ‘Flyby Camping’ or ‘Fairford Airshow Camping’ have them flying over low to land if it’s a westerly wind.

Monday - tickets available on the gate if you get there reasonably early.

Security will generally move you along if you’re trying to watch from the fence at either side.

Park and view always sell out but they have plenty of tickets on the gate each day. I didn’t have a problem last year turning up in morning and getting in

Okay. Is the biggest, though. And arrived Wednesday last year. Ok. Maybe not the first but one of.

Bigger than a KC-10 or a C-17 or an A330? Wings are long and awkward but it doesn't mean its the biggest.

OK usually arrive on a Wednesday, but static ones have arrived Thursday as well in the past, and in the afternoon.

Your guess will probably be correct and it will turn up Wednesday morning but never assume what you do not actually know.
