Park & View West

Post by sneezy24 » Sun Jul 16, 2023 7:49 am

Probably going to do P&V West on Monday, only done it once before (in 2017). Got some decent shots so thought I would try again.

I can't remember how to get there, and if it is concrete or grass parking!

I assume you turn off at the Marston Massey junction then take a right fork to P&V?? or is it further along towards Kempston?

Any thoughts??

If the parking is on grass, I do P&V East!!!

Surely that is P&V EAST? That is the road I entered by on Thursday.

West is the other end of the runway?

Parking was on the concrete last year, so imagine the same again this year.

Slightly confused when I approached the turn to Marston Maysey, no sign pointing to P&V West, so I drove on thinking they had changed the route. Got to Kempsford, saw a sign for P&V West pointing back the way I had come! Quick 3-pointer, back down the road, saw a sign for P&V West at the MM turn....
Why no sign from the other direction where most people would come from?

I suppose it could have blown away...

Anyway, loads of space, some great views.

.. but the condition of the Portaloos....... (and only one outlet for food/drink), and no marshalling in the car park, but not really needed as loads of space.

I did the same thing! Though TBF I was navigating by experience rather than looking for the signs

And yes the bogs weren't the best-though have seen far worse!
And the food outlet chosen didn't start serving till 10, maybe later, and then ran out half way through the afternoon..
As you send, plenty of space in the car park. Can't wait too see all the 'park and view is sold out where do I get tickets?' posts next year..
