No Tangerine Fields campsite for 2023

Just seen a post on RIAT nutters Facebook page apparently Tangerine Fields or the official RIAT campsite isn’t happening next year

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2023

Dear Customer,

It is with sadness that we are announcing that we will no longer be providing the campsite at the RIAT airshow. We have had 5 fantastic years in the fields with our wonderful customers, however, the organisers have decided not to run the campsite in 2023. We would like to thank both the RIAT organisers and especially all our campers for all their custom and helping us create some memorable days under the skies and stars.

I’m afraid we do not have recommendations for alternative camping areas, though would suggest the local tourist information centres for details regarding accommodation in the area.

Confirmed on the RIAT website (though it may return in future years...?) :

RAFCTE has taken the difficult decision not to run the RIAT Official Campsite in 2023. We would like to thank our partners Tangerine Fields for their great work with the RIAT campsite. We hope to run a campsite again in future and we will review this after next year's show.

Not really surprised by this decision. There have always been far cheaper and better campsites around for years anyway.
