Re. B-52; reported on UKAR that one made an emergency landing at Nellis yesterday. That could explain why the two aircraft, from different bases, cancelled.

You never know they still could turn up, i always look for the positive and i am a glass half full kind of guy.

It is a shame of the B52 cancellation. However I seriously don’t get people that call the airshow ‘poor’ because of it. Sure, it is a shame. I will admit that. However, look to everything else on that show this year: For example, the Japanese C2, the Brazil KC390 and the Black Eagles. I know what I’d rather take.

Also, whether you moan or not, it will not change this situation. The B52s have cancelled, and that’s it. It will still be an amazing show this year.

Also, be grateful the show is even on. DBH themselves have on there website that war can cancel RIAT. So feel lucky we even have a show.

Generally a fairly magnanimous response to the first of probably several inevitable cancellations in the coming few days.
Please spare a thought within this forum for the chronically 'entitled' & intransigent among us though? When-o-when will somebody finally confirm if the E4 is doing the Loop Friday....or Not? :halo: ;)

When was the last time a Korean C-130 was deployed to the UK?
Last month ;)

Technically, even if confirmed by RIAT and DBH is guaranteed to show till you see if it parked up and covers on :D

Buffs cancelling is a shame and doesn’t leave much on the way of USAF flying stuff but as someone else alluded to, they do turn up at Fairford on deployment so aren’t exactly mega rare or worth cancelling over IMO. Let’s hope the E-3 doesn’t follow them.

So safely on the base the one thing I hate is queue jumpers yet again people just jumping in front of others that have been there well before they have.
