Is it just brize approach freqs that are used for Fairford or would it be all the brize freqs aswell, such as director/radar etc?

It's a specific Brize approach frequency. VHF 134.550 springs to mind but I may be wrong!

FFD has no radar I believe so a few of the Brize frequencies are used for approach and handling before being handed over to FFD Tower for initials.
Can't remember which frequencies specifically but it's useful to have them on arrival days

399.025 was actually heard used by "MARHAM 11" approaching BZ.

Thanks for the info. As a first timer at RIAT and currently waiting delivery of a new scanner, can anyone advise on which of those frequencies would be most "interesting" ? I'm guessing Tower or Ops

Once you decide which frequencies to select as "priority", don't forget to scan the very, very, informative 409 - 420 and 430 - 470MHz UHF ground support frequencies, used by both civil and military.

I spent a very enjoyable day at P+V West yesterday and usually do more listening on the UHF FM ground channels than the air and ones. However, it seems that all the old frequencies used year on year are now dead. Searching around my TRX-1 found the following which may be of interest;

Mark (mark6uk) did you go this year? If so, any updates to your last years 2022 freq, DMR findings?

I could not make it but I'm planning way in advance, understanding a lot can change in a year.
