Decent update. Portugese participation is quite rare recently. That Sabre is beautiful, shame its not flying but still be nice to see.

As much as I love the Viper I do wish Team Zeus were Phantoms 😊 but cant have it always & im not ungrateful 😅

hey, its flying if you are doing arrivals and departures :thumb: :thumb:

its actually nice to see team zeus back. always a great display. hopefully they will have a nice fancy paint scheme .iirc, they used a plain f16 the last time they displayed at RIAT. 2017/18 ??

Team Zeus were last at RIAT in 2018 but cannot remember if it was special scheme F-16 or not?

i have a terrible memory but something tells me it was a plain f16 with conformal fuel tanks fitted im sure someone will be along soon to tell me im wrong :lol:

It was I think,they could not afford the paint at the time I seem to recall
It was still a great display again by the team ,always good to see a different variant of the F-16

More recently they have just had standard grey jets with conformal tanks (such as Sanicole last year)

I’m ever hopefull there may be the F-22A demo team coming this year being the usaf significant anniversary love seeing the raptor :thumbs:

Raptor is scheduled to display in Canada that weekend so no F-22 this year I am afraid :(

Hopefully next year as was 2017 the last time it was at RIAT if memory serves me correct? It is an awesome display though.

US F-35 and A-10 have self confirmed just waiting and praying DBH confirm them both soon so fingers crossed for that :thumb:

Yeah, 2017 was last time the F22 came over.

Couldn't display on the Saturday due to low cloud and weather. Displayed on the Sunday.

If you look at the Frecce Tricolori schedule, it is only their domestic schedule, there is no international dates.

they come later.

Team Zeus reverted back to standard finished jets, as the HAF hierarchy thought it was a truer reflection of their combat role, and not just a glorified show performer.
