Anyone know why nothing is going up? Cloudbase looks good, no rain? What's the hold up? Are they preparing for the Nato flypast?

Probably because they don't need to! One flew earlier.

I understand low level clouds as it affects visibility but do you think an 18 mph wind speed could stop the display from going ahead ?

Glad Im going tomorrow

Or did their validation at Yeovilton cover them for RIAT too?

Which would be easily covered by 'they don't need to' ;)

And no worries Ollie.

Edit, can't remember if the did validate at VL or not, but if they did it would indeed cover both. Pretty sure they had already been validated for RIAT anyway.

Reds were due up at 11.58 today - Now I see 15.22 for them. Was that wx related or tech or ops? - Anyone know? :)

They did not validate nor need to validate for yeovilton as that was not a display. They were only doing the full display at riat only.
