Oh I know
For me, RIAT is more about the experience. Sitting back in the grandstand and Pimms with everyone and enjoying the weekend. I'm more than happy with whats been announced/Self confirmed already.
Then again, I could watch Cessna's display and be happy lol.
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread
Was a little worried about RIAT this year but with everything they've confirmed and all the rumours its set to be another great year!

Of course it's always a good show but we're in the 'nervous wondering' stage like every year
Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread
Just sit back, relax, enjoy the best air-display still available in the UK
What's not to like
Peeps have worked the bums off to get you lot who can go yet another fantastic show
If you don't like the bill of fare, give your ticket to someone who will thoroughly enjoy it

Couldn't agree more Paddy
There just needs to be much more positivity on this thread and at the end of the day, as said before, it's down to you as an individual to enjoy the whole weekend.

First time going for me and I can’t wait. Personally I think the line up looks great so far, however I’d be happy with just the harriers and the flanker!

I could not agree more with what others have said it's always a good day out, sure some things getting cancelled and the weather at times cannot be helped but for the airshow we do get it's pretty dam spectacular and this year looks to be one of the best from the lineup so far.
I for one cannot wait to go, 12 weeks tomorrow I leave for 5 days of wonderful aircraft watching just hope the weather is like last year and no aircraft call offs and it should be a cracker of an airshow.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2019 Discussion Thread
Couple of new additions today.
From RIAT website: "Today we can confirm more fast jet action! The Swedish Air Force will be displaying their JAS-39 Gripen with one aircraft in the flying line up and one aircraft on the ground in the static display. We can also confirm a PC-9M Swift from Slovenia and another German Air Force EF2000 from TLG 71, both on static display."
The Polish Navy have also self confirmed an M28B-1R for Static according to Flightline UK on Facebook.

Nice update today (or should I say yesterday just saw the time) Gripen is always a good display and you can usually bet on the Swedish attending
More added to the static is always welcome just hope the Typhoons from Germany will have some kind of colour scheme or tail, will be good to see the PC-9 up close nice little aircraft and the display pilot puts on a very polished display.
