Good evening everyone.

I have a friend who is not a PC owner but a very enthusiastic Vulcan fan, he as asked for my help regarding the departure time on Saturday 28th June.

I have searched all the avenues I know of in order to gain the departure time but sadly for my friend I have not come up with anything.

I fully appreciate that the departure time may not have been announced as yet and that a lot of what is published is gained through Twitter.. which I`m not a member or follower of.

So guys, if any of you could help my friend out, he and I would very much appreciate it.

Many thanks in advance.

departure times are not broadcast, as that would encourage too many people to go and watch, which would effectively make it a display, for which they are not insured..

Hi Bro

It's down for two displays on Saturday . Twitter feed and the Vulcan to the sky website should give you some idea of the display times. Working back from that should give you an idea of its departure time which is usually 1 hour before. I'll txt you when and if I get an update if you want?

Hi Bro

Yes... its down to do two displays... Goodwood and Scarborough, I know the display times for both so I now have a better idea when she will get airborne.

As I said before, its not for me its for my mate Barry... I`m sure he will be pleased.

Best

Nicely done Ben,

Passed over our kids school fair this aft, very low approx 1400 on it's way to the coast. Made a lot of kids feel very special even if it was a lucky coincidence.

Is it your video floating around on facebook ? I have seen one of the Vulcan going and you can hear children cheering in the background.
Following the twitter updates today, it seems a lot of people got to see her today ... get your money in the buckets everybody

Not mine mate,

I'd like to see if it is from the fete though, certainly slow enough for somebody to get some footage. I was really taken with the effect it had on a lot of kids, could have collected a few quid for them today!
