Dawlish display done, looks like they're trying for Dunsfold. :thumb:

Good luck to them.

Edit: Tucanos (Tankard) formation now on way to Dunsfold.

According to the Tucano guys Dunsfold is still unfit to display so not sure how it will pan out for XH558.

Tucanos don't think they can get through the weather but will hold another 5 mins.

Vulcan now calling Farnborough but not getting a reply.

Edit: Vulcan still trying Farnborough but they unable to hear her, I must admit her audio quality isn't too good, about a R3.

Edit: Now talking with Farnborough, 8 miles north of Bognor, flying into display at Dunsfold.

16:44 Vulcan with Dunsfold radio...msg reads Dunsfold we almost made it but we chickened out :(

Shame about the weather there when it's been dry as bone elsewhere in the South.

Apparently only Red10 landed at Dunsfold earlier. My source hasn't quite got the concept of display 'team' yet.

Not here but I think she was routing Odiham, Oxford and so on on her way back to Doncaster.

Now informing Farnborough she will free call Brize and route Wantage then turn north east of there.

Vulcan radio operator sounds p!$$ed off, shame as they tried.

Just gone over Northampton, Vulcan crew aren't the only ones to be annoyed. If only I'd have known, that might have just been my only chance to see it flying..
Thanks,

Dan Adkins

I'm just getting into aircraft, and I'm still learning, please bear with me!

I can understand your upset but the cancellation was down to the weather.

Even the RAF Typhoon and the Tucano display team sacked it for the same reason.

I wasn't attending the display, it flew right over my house and I missed it!

Same here, and to make it worse a mate phoned me from just down the road in Christchurch and said ' You'll never guess what I just saw!' :grr:

From twitter: Today's crew: Martin Withers, Bill Perrins, Barry Masefield and Jonathan Lazzari. ETD 13:45

Dunsfold display is scheduled for 15.00 I believe.

Great display at Dunsfold today, although it seemed a little short.
