Another good camera location would be fin-tip, looking down onto the crew compartment, but able to see a bit of wing too, fisheyed lens maybe . . .

Thanks chaps - enjoy doing the videos!
RE Other locations - sadly its not possible to place them anywhere else other then thats already approved, sadly sticking a suction pad on the tail, which agree'd would be phenomenal is slightly out of bounds :-)

Could the fin tip receiver housing not have a adapter made for the lens assembly, as development Tornadoes had? I know it would be some expense and would need flight clearance, but it is possible. The views possible would make for stunning film.

Like you say its possible, however, you hit the nail on the head with expense and flight testing. I'd do anything to get footage like that, but i think the money is much better spent trying to keep her flying. With the fin tip, the cover isnt transparent, and there for you would have to modify the aircraft, which believe you and me isnt a easy game with the and probably would never be authorised, then there's the expense of a cherry picker, or access platform to actually mount it, turn it on before flight e.t.c. so i think, sadly that idea has to be put to bed. I have to be totally grateful for the view's we are getting now, and don't want to push the boat out. Fridays newsletter will see the display from Farnborough from the blister, and also a second video, of the display from the cockpit.
