No you cannot see her, you can from outside the fence thou the view is pretty rubbish.
They have done a handful of engine runs last year, you can pay and see that but numbers are limited to around 30,
The price is very shocking thou.

Plenty of other preserved Vulcans dotted around the country that you can get close to.

Have to agree with the above Dave, get down to Newark if you want to get close to one, & in/around.
Travel a little further if you have the desire to see one move.
I spend about 80% of my time around Lincs and S Yorks, but personally won't attend 558 out of principle.

We have a great RAF100 themed open cockpit event on Easter Sunday (1st April) & I'm fairly certain that XM594 will be on 'open-cockpit' duty that day! bets get there early to get your name on the access list - some restrictions apply!

Went past DSA on Saturday - XH558, the Canberra and a Swift? all stood outside at the north end of the hangar arch. XH558 appears to look a bit weather beaten around the tail unless it was just damp.

Swift should be WK275 which used to be at Upper Hill.

Hi All,
Yes she is shoved out of the way next to the effluent works ! How very sad she looks ! Surly she would be better in some museum under cover and all polished for people to admire, rather than sat there acquiring a nasty smell due to the location ! She is unlikely to ever fly again so why not preserve her in her magnificence ! Even the weathered Falklands hero has a better life opposite the Wave at RAF Wadington ! At least the public can see her and her mighty ordinance display. Perhaps Richard Branson or Alan Sugar might use their small change to save her from a certain slow death ! It’s all very sad !

Shame in a way they didn't go with one their original plan and have her at Duxford, mind you how would they have got her in there?
Are they not supposed to be opening some sort of Visitors Centre at Robin Hood?

Not sure why Duxford would want a second Vulcan?

As mentioned before, the one at Coventry Air Museum or Wellesbourne are worthy of a visit, Wellesbourne is only open at the weekends thou as far as I'm aware, the 2 aren't that far apart so you could do both !!

They've started to do tours, £15 for a 90 minute walk around and cockpit visit. Next one is sold out, but there are other dates.

Other locations are available for less cost and far more on offer - Coventry and Newark spring to mind.

Well at least they are not charging an extortionate amount, they are a bit obsessive about covering her in names. Still like others there are other Vulcans about with far more to do after a look around.
