Re: Vulcan flights 2013
I saw her over Metheringham airfield about 14.07 very quiet and sedate but still good to see her.
Re: Vulcan flights 2013
Hi guys. I watched her take off and land back with my Mum and Dad who remember very well the times when 6 use to scamble from Finningley. They had a great time, very nostalgic for them, they loved that howl:-) thanks to my bro Bobby jo for the updates. Best rgds. T1

Re: Vulcan flights 2013
Yes , she climbed well above 10K at one stage which allowed the FR network to catch her
Now well below that , but still solid on PP
Great to see that she can exceed the 10K level if conditions permit.

Re: Vulcan flights 2013
She went to 13K at one stage, at which point the throttles were opened, and the Vulcan howl could be heard 10 miles from her then position.

Re: Vulcan flights 2013
FR had it at 3000ft at one point, they've had even low in some parts of the UK at well it seems!zero_gravity wrote:Yes , she climbed well above 10K at one stage which allowed the FR network to catch her
Re: Vulcan flights 2013
Still no Vulcan sightings for me this year, but I did just see the other big four engined Avro.
