Israeli Texan II

Seen on pprune,someone has posted info that 4x Texan IIs are being delivered via Europe...currently these a/c appear to be in Goose Bay...does anyone know if they will pass through/refuel in UK,poss mon/tuesday. May also explain the reason behind the Israeli a/f overflights last week.....Cheers

I've read somewhere that they're due through Wick at some point.

Ok cheers,..just thought they may route through Mildenhall/Lakenheath...the pprune poster has pasted the flightaware plot for them that puts them in Goose Bay at present...not sure of thier range,so will be interesting to see where they end up!

Nope, it's because they don't have the fuel to get to Prestwick, and Wick offers cheaper fuel and landing fees anyway!

Media has nothing to do with it, most Beechcraft aircraft route via Wick.
