At approx 22:45 a helicopter flew very low over Carnoustie heading in the general direction of RM Condor.Came from Leuchars direction nothing showing on ADSB.My Helicopter knowledge isnt too good and the light was poor ,just saw it from behind so no idea what it was.Thought it might have been a Coastguard machine but they dont usually fly directly over the town at night..Any ideas as to an ID.

846 nas Merlins are at Kinloss currently, could also be those

Balado airfield have just shared of photo of Merlin AB on their instagram, may have been that

ZJ992 was recorded just north of Aberdeen at 500ft heading northeast following the coast at 2215 using callsign 'VICTOR1' which is a likely candidate (it followed the coast as far as Lossie)

ZJ132 was in the region of 'Tain' around 2315 using a callsign of 'VICTOR 3'

This also suggests that a 3rd helicopter was present but unsure if operating as a flight for the entire sortie or singletons (would have been a flight at some point)
