Definitely heard fighter jets just before 6pm this evening in Vale of York area. No visuals and no signal to check. All bases seem closed today?! Anyone any ideas?!

There were 3 Qatari Hawks up from Leeming and showed as ZB133/137 and 138 plus Atlas ZM416 came back from its exercise op with the last two Hawks landing just before 18:00 .

Thank you, possible!! Gut reaction is the noise was deeper than Hawks (I hear red arrows most days!) and they were still at it bang on 6pm as I was waiting to go in a restaurant. Seemed an odd time for anything on a Friday.
