Low flying jet over Cairngorms near Dalwhinnie?
I hope this is posted in the correct section! My partner and I were driving east through the Cairngorms nearing Dalwhinnie yesterday, when a low flying jet flew overhead. It was travelling fast, as we only heard the noise for maybe 2 seconds, though it was incredibly loud. I was driving and gutted i didn’t get a glimpse, but my partner who knows little about aircraft described it as “dark and triangular”. Just wondering if anyone knows what this could be as i’m incredibly nosey. Flightradar24 showed nothing. Perhaps a training exercise from Lossiemouth? The jet seemed no more than 200m above us. Just curious to know if anyone has any idea what it could have been!

Most likely as you suggest a Lossie Typhoon but there have been a few Draken Aviation L-159 Alca jets exercising as well. Not sure if they were as far over as that though.
