C-17 OTT The Alps on 22nd April

Post by Malcolm » Sat Apr 23, 2022 9:23 pm

Hi,
Can anyone fudge up a C-17 for me. Noted on Friday 22nd April 2022 at about 11:45 CET flying in a roughly South Easterly direction at medium altitude (Estimate FL150-FL200) over the French Ski resort of Meribel. It was below the cloud cover, and a lot lower than other airliners which were trailing. No optics with me, but 99% certain it was a C-17. Mountains in that area are (roughly) 9000-12000 feet high, so would have been higher than that.
Cheers
Malcolm
