Hi all.
Was on holiday in Barbados last week and when landing and taking off from Grantley Adams International there were 2 x C-26 Metroliners parked in what looked like a military area.
Seem to remember that one at least was ex US Mil, could some kind soul let me know where they both came from before being used by the Barbados Defence Force and if they were ex US Mil - their serial numbers.
Many thanks.
Stewart

Re: C-26 Mertoliners / Barbados
Hi Stewart,
According to Scramble military database both are ex-USAF as follows:-
86-0454 (c/n AC-743B) became RSS-A1
86-0453 (c/n AC-742B) became RSS-A2
The below link to Barbados Regional Security Service confirms that two were donated by U.S. Government:-

Hope this helps,
Steve
