10/01 Hercules over Northampton

Seen a military aircraft recently but NOT at one of the bases or airfields listed below? Maybe it flew over the top of you today? Need to tie up the serial? Ask in here. Requests less than 6 months old only please.

Can anyone help with the ID of the Herc flying North West over Northampton at 13:05 today please? It came from the East, could it be ZH874?

In an unrelated note, does anyone know what's happened to the 'East Mids Area Log' on 'fred's files'? This was a useful sight for checking the odd military helicopter etc that was heading in that general direction.

Yes, it was, Dan. Think it was the only C-130 in UK skies today. Callsign was "RRR077"

Thanks Bob. I had seen that thread, it seemed about the right time for mine, but just wanted to check, just in case - the routing was a bit different to usual Brize inbounds over my way :)
