Seen a military aircraft recently but NOT at one of the bases or airfields listed below? Maybe it flew over the top of you today? Need to tie up the serial? Ask in here. Requests less than 6 months old only please.

Seafire and Spitfire, Lleyn Peninsula North Wales - 21/7/16

Post by atwallbank » Thu Jul 21, 2016 9:35 pm

Does anybody have the serials and/or desination/Route of a Seafire(? going from RN type markings) and Spitfire formation over North Wales today (21st July 2016)

Didn't see them myself, but seen a pic of the pair together (not good enough for serials)

thanks
Andrew

Can confirm that the Seafire was PP972 (G-BUAR) and the Spitfire was ML407 (G-LFIX) returning from Bray.
