Unidentified over Tay estuary.

Post by Condor68 » Thu Jan 30, 2025 10:41 am

About 20 minutes ago what sounded like a Typhoon passed over Carnoustie heading South leaving a long trail.Didnt appear to be too high.Cant see it on ADSB or FR24.There were a few Draken flights further south and a Jedi out to sea .None of then were tracked close to here. Been quite a few like this over the last month or so.If possible its serial would be appreciated.

Thanks

Keith

More noise in the sky 10:57 local sounds to be heading NE.Amazing how in miles clear blue sky couldnt see it. but have just picked up a trail near where Falcons are exercising offshore.Seems a bit nippy for a Falcon though.

The noise at 1057 is more than likely Typhoons from Coninsby that went off radar near Dunbar northbound just before - TRIPLEX21 flight, unsure of how many

Thanks for the reply, seems to be a fair bit going on round here just now.going by the noise.Sadly not getting picked up.The last trail could have been the Typhoons you mentioned as it was coming from that direction. Some of the Typhoons passing over have been really low but sadly by the time I hear them and get outside its too late to get a picture.

Thanks again for taking time to reply.
