Re: LOSSIE/ KINLOSS September 2008.
Hi U74
What follows may be of little help... perhaps even no help whatsoever, but looking through Military Aviation Review dated November 2008 indicates that P-3Cs 158915 & 163003 (both believed to be operating with VP-16 at the time) visited Mildenhall in early/mid October, and I mention it as both used the radio callsign prefix 'PS' plus the last three of the serial; i.e. "PS003" for 163003 (14th October) & "PS915" for 158915 (7th October). By mentioning this all I'm suggesting is that it's *possible* that the P-3 you saw OTT Lossie on 22nd September using radio callsign "PS915" could well have been 158915?
Best wishes

The only USCG C-130 I can recall ever turning up at Kinloss was C-130J 2004 "Elizabeth City" which took part in Ex Combined Strength in May 2010

Can't tie up anything else, but for what it's worth, I would agree with DickFlute on the P-3.Unknown74 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 2:53 amI have a few log entries which need IDd please?

Brilliant Jaws, Cheers for IDing the Hawks, we were leaving to find our hotel when I saw them on approach unfortunately I had packed the binos so couldn’t ID them.
