RAF Chedworth. Sick Quarters

Post by MarkG » Fri Mar 18, 2011 10:34 pm

Once there would've been several brick buildings here comprising the sick quarters. Not much remains now, although the roadways and concrete bases where the buildings once stood are still evident.

I'm sure the hospital is round here...somewhere....

Apart from blast shelters, these remains next to the entrance are about all that is left building wise.

Been a while since this has been used!

We found it eventually

Was another productive afternoon, just a shame it is quite hard to find photos of the place in action. It will not stop me trying though!
BECAUSE TYPING IN LOWER CASE WOULD BE EASY.............

I have a 1945 dated photograph of a chap in uniform with his vehicle next to one of the buildings , been trying to identify it.
