Does anyone know if this is linked to the spririt of coltishall group.
Nice to see Mick Jennings has donated, never met him myself, but many enthusiasts would talk fondly about him arriving at the 22 end and talking to the gathered people.

I have met mick when he brought his jag T2 nose to newark and when he hosted on the behalf of the station on the last ian allen photo tour and he was charming and very knowledgeable on Coltishall and its history. If you do meet him just enjoy his presence

Yes, we do have links with The Spirit of Coltishall Association which has responsibility for the Coltishall Memorial Rooms at the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum at Neatishead. The RAF Station Coltishall Heritage Trust holds Mick Jennings collection with the intention to combine both collections to be displayed together at a heritage centre at the former RAF Coltishall. Mick Jennings now lives in Australia but has given his full support to our aims.

Thanks jagnut.
Went on the English Heritage tour last summer, was an excellent few hours.
Very glad to hear about the links with spirit of Coltishall, was worried that there may be a few different groups trying for different things on the former airfield so thanks for the info.

Went to one of Mick Jenning's talks at RAF Colt, pre closure, with Scottow parish council group. Knew Mick via my Wife who did a lot of the engraved glass for the lads on base. His talk was amazing, no notes and kept a local and mostly knowledgeable on the subject Group enthralled. A much missed RAF Colt supporter.
