is there something wrong in asking for a list of serials for aircraft at valley - or is valley a closed shop!

I think you'll find its rather difficult to compile a list of the Hawks at Valley, as they are swapped around quite regularly. I havent been there for a while myself, so i cant be sure what helo's are left, but it should be at least one Griffin, and the 6 22sqn Sea King's.

An excellent site is :- http://www.bmal.org.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Just register and then put "Hawk" into the search-box.

Valley is a very hard place to get the serials, as Seven says they are being rotated. Even now the T1's are coming to their end of flight training and are being swapped/sent to Shawbury for storage, Scampton for reds or leeming for 100Sqn. The T2's are here, from ZK010 to 037 with a couple at Warton. Seakings rotate through, so they change, but are divivdec into 22/202 and 203 squadrons. Griffins, normally 2 or 3, and the AW139 is just the one now. As I say, it's hard to keep track at the moment, and I'm there almost every week.

As Mike R says, BMAL is a great site, but can only update as fast as we an supply the data.

It's not that Valley is secretaries, it's just that we can't keep up for the moment!

Hope this helps

Steve

so is it because VAS is a secret society and they have insider info - last time i was there (about 3 years ago) i was able to record a good days proportion of flying aircraft through the use of photography and using binoculars
